It will still take some time before the new rooms for the new generation in groblangheim at the josefsstift are ready. For various trades, the municipal council awarded on tuesday evening for the work expected to begin in september, investing about 232 000 euros. According to mayor karl hochner, the fact that the house for children will be finished later than planned is due to the higher demands of the conversion and renovation of the josefsstift "and also because it is currently very difficult to get bids from the companies for the various jobs".
But this does not affect the kindergarten, because next to the kindergarten is the "aubenstelle" in the former raiffeisenwarengebaude is still used. "Every child will get a place", assured kindergarten director karin strabberger, who spoke at the meeting about the opening times in the kindergarten year 2019/20 and the needs survey. 50 of the 58 applications for the kindergarten were returned, and 14 for the nursery. Due to the personnel situation, the opening times of 7 minutes were maintained.15 to 15.15 o’clock in the kindergarten and from 7.30 to 14.15 o’clock in the manger. A few parents had asked for longer opening times, but this was not possible due to a lack of staff. Lunch will be served after the renovation of the josefstift. "We will go through with the reconstruction as soon as possible", assured the mayor. The council unanimously approved the stated opening times.
In the tender for the heating installation in the house for children there was a faulty offer, otherwise there was no offer. The council unanimously decided to initiate another award procedure. For the sanitary installation, the contract was awarded to loblein (mainstockheim) at a price of 125,636 euros. It was also awarded the contract for the ventilation installation for 50 014 euros, with the maintenance contract being concluded separately at just under 1000 euros per year. The insulation work was awarded to the company dammtec holger reub (wiesentheid) for 19 512 euro. The fire alarm system was awarded to the company kommunikations- und sicherheitstechnik konig (scheinfeld) for 37,020 euros. The cultural foundation of lower franconia has promised a grant for the reconstruction and renovation of the josefsstift. Burgermeister hochner was optimistic that the application to the bavarian state foundation for a grant could also be successful.
